Photos of Anderson Valley
Anderson Valley Chamber of Commerce

While it's just over a two hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area, Anderson Valley feels like another world. At the eastward end of the valley, sheep pastures and vineyards alternate with forests of oak and pine that stretch over the distant hills. Further west, redwoods tower over the road as it follows the Navarro River to the sea.

Some people come to Anderson Valley for the landscape alone. Others come to taste the award-winning wines, or to enjoy the outdoors at a state park or at one of the swimming spots along the Navarro River. People come together at the annual festivals, the local museum, the farmer's market, periodic music performances, and the high school sport games. Whatever brings you here, whether you are a long-time resident or a first-time visitor, you will find useful information on this site.
